About
Welcome to Bud to Blossom. What a privilege it is to have you here! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop in. I’m praying that this is a place you can find encouragement and support to grow in grace and understanding of Jesus Christ [2 Peter 3:18*].
The culture bombards us with shifting values and convoluted expectations. Rather than letting the world determine truth, I desire to provide resources that are permeated with the infallible word of God. A Gospel-centered foundation allows us to be in the world, but not of it. Even so, we’re imperfect and sinful people. We still face difficulties and fall short. Thankfully we serve a loving and gracious God.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.” Galatians 2:20
My prayer is that by being transparent in my walk with the Lord, I can encourage you and spur you on toward love and good deeds [Hebrews 10:24-25]. I hope to grow together as we learn to live in light of our salvation. May we honor and bring glory to God as we lavish His love on believers and unbelievers alike [1 John 4:19].
Incorporating Scripture
Saturating our lives with Scripture is a way to weave Biblical truths into everything. Moses commanded in Deuteronomy 6:7-9, “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” While the command was for the Israelites in the Old Testament, the principle applies to us today
We can follow this command in so many simple ways. Maybe you scrawl a verse from your quiet time on a sticky note and put it on your mirror. Perhaps you listen to scripture memorization songs with your children. Maybe you have a sign with a Bible verse hanging by your front door. It can be simple, yet it is still so significant. These small visuals remind us of eternal truths that impact our day-to-day lives. I aspire to help others integrate God’s word into their everyday lives through faith-based stationery and gifts. You can check out my little shop here.
May you be encouraged and spurred along as you continue to grow in grace.

Hi, I’m Carley!
A few years ago, I shifted from being a full-time elementary teacher to a stay-at-home momma to my little ones. While it feels like just yesterday, I officially started Bud to Blossom in 2019. The demands of nurturing two kids under two and caring for three foster children intermittently led me to pause my pursuit of growing my little business. This time away has given me some fresh inspiration and much-needed rest. However, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be back!
I am hopeful that my resources support you in your spiritual growth and allow you to encourage others in their relationships with Jesus. “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen!” [2 Peter 3:18 ESV]
